Service pages and articles describe the rules in general terms. They do not take your situation into account and are not legal advice, an opinion or a recommendation to act.
Reading the site or sending an enquiry does not create a lawyer-client relationship. That arises only after we have discussed your question and agreed on the scope of work.
Currency of the information
We write on the basis of Latvian law in force and show the update date and links to primary sources on each page. Laws, state fees and deadlines change: before acting, check the current wording of the act or ask us.
Rights to the content
The texts, design and materials of the site belong to the site owner. They may be quoted with a reference to the source; full reproduction or reworking without written permission is not allowed.
Links to other sites
We link to external sources (for example the likumi.lv portal) so that you can verify what we write. We are not responsible for the content of other sites or for changes to it.
Enquiries through the site
An enquiry from the site is a request to contact you, not an instruction to take on a case. We reply within one business day and may decline to take the question on (for example in case of a conflict of interest).
How we handle form data is described in the privacy policy. Do not send documents or information through the form that cannot be disclosed before the engagement is confirmed.
